Founded in 1952, Crystal Springs Uplands School is a vibrant and close-knit community of scholars rooted in traditions of excellence and a culture of inclusion and belonging. Crystal serves students on two campuses (middle and high school) on the San Francisco peninsula. The school is committed to providing a comprehensive education that ensures the well-rounded development of 6th through 12th graders with an emphasis on critical thinking, academic challenge and engagement, arts, and athletics.

The Opportunity

Crystal Springs Uplands School is seeking an inaugural Director of Development for Leadership Giving to drive philanthropy and stewardship programs for capital campaigns, annual giving, planned giving, institutional giving, and the endowment. The successful candidate will join a caring and committed team of colleagues as well as a community of exceptional faculty and students.

Reporting to the Assistant Head for Advancement and Strategy, the Director will help foster a collegial and collaborative environment to advance the school’s mission and fundraising goals.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, an appetite for growth, and a proven ability to inspire, lead, motivate, and manage stakeholders. A mission-driven innovator, the Director should be a creative thinker who is comfortable taking initiative to bring ideas to the table and develop them in collaboration with a high-performing team.
