Its private sector fund-raising entity, the University of Cincinnati Foundation, is charged to encourage philanthropy for UC and UC Health and to secure and steward contributions in support of their education, research, and service goals. The Proudly Cincinnati five-year campaign ended in 2013 and raised more than $1.09 billion in private support from 100,672 donors.
