Arizona’s largest performing arts
organization, The Phoenix Symphony, believes in the power of music to
transform, inspire, and revitalize communities. The Symphony reaches 300,000
people each year, including 125,000 children and families, through its concerts
and educational presentations. In addition to classical and pops concerts and
family events, The Phoenix Symphony has developed innovative community programs
in schools, homeless outreach centers, healthcare organizations and
collaborates on an Alzheimer initiative with Arizona State University. The Phoenix
Symphony is committed to using the joy of music to create healthier
communities, a strong cultural economy, and an engaged next generation of
citizens. It is a pioneer, that is both reinventing itself and the arts scene
in which it operates.
