The Opportunity

Reporting to the President in this newly created role, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (EVP-COO) will run the business side of Yeshiva University, enabling the University to fulfill its mission as the world’s premier Jewish higher education institution. The EVP-COO will play a significant role in shaping the next chapter of the University’s important history.

The EVP-COO is the University’s chief business, administrative, and operating officer and a key member of the executive leadership team. S/He will advance institutional priorities, effect change, and support the convening of the big ideas that shape Yeshiva’s current community as well as its vision of the future. Charged with building a dynamic business model and operational framework, the EVP-COO will be a key strategic partner to YU’s schools and departments, helping to define sustainable, efficient ways to deploy resources, deliver services and identify new sources of revenue and funding. Broad administrative and managerial experience at leadership levels across a range of functions, including finance, information technology, human resources, and facilities management is essential. Candidates must have an established record of effective, collaborative leadership in a complex organization as well as a passion for Yeshiva University’s higher education mission.
