Whitinsville Christian School (WCS) offers a comprehensive Pre K-12 quality school curriculum, while providing a vibrant, actively engaged community learning to serve God in all areas of life. As one of the oldest Christian schools in Massachusetts, Whitinsville builds on its 86 year-old tradition of excellence in day school education by serving a total of 564 students from 79 churches and 38 communities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The Opportunity
The Director of Advancement will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who shares the philosophy and worldview of Whitinsville and fosters the academic, spiritual and social development of its Christian students. S/He will coordinate all facets of the 3-year comprehensive campaign which includes support for capital projects, annual giving endowment and current restricted use funds. In addition, the incumbent will implement an action plan and case statement to fulfill the goals outlined by the Campaign Cabinet. The Director will be responsible for all aspects associated with major gift prospects and maintain an active pool of 150-200 top level prospects in addition to overseeing the annual loyalty fund drive and other annual giving fundraisers. The selected candidate will have 5-7 years of fundraising experience including multi-year comprehensive campaigns, preferably in an educational environment.
