Established in 1954, the WVU Foundation provides fundraising services for the University and its affiliated organizations. Its State of Minds Campaign has already surpassed its original goal of $750 million and is now targeting $1 billion, seeking to take WVU to entirely new levels of achievement and success.

The Opportunity

An
experienced Director of Regional Development is needed to provide leadership and
direction for the Regional Development Program that represents the entire range
of University needs and priorities in geographic regions across the country.
S/he will solicit outright and planned gifts of $25,000 and higher, and supervise
the Program staff, as well as design and execute a program establishing
planning goals and measurements to efficiently and effectively operate the
program in cost-effective ways. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six years
of direct and progressively responsible experience in major gift fundraising is
required.
