University of Utah Health is expected to raise over $200 million in FY2017 as part of a capital campaign to construct a state-of-the-art medical school, rehabilitation hospital, ambulatory care center and innovation and discovery center.

The Opportunity

University of Utah Health seeks a dynamic, collaborative fundraising professional to serve as the Senior Director of Advancement (SDOA) and provide philanthropic support for two comprehensive initiatives focused on cardiovascular health and medical innovations. This important and highly visible position will manage relationships with a portfolio of donors who have the capability of making major to principal gifts in the range of $100,000 to $1 million or more. Collaborating with physician leadership, faculty and administrators, the SDOA will articulate and execute an advancement plan focused on best practices. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of demonstrated successful fundraising experience, preferably in a high education setting.
