The mission of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is to bring the benefits of the health sciences to the achievement and maintenance of human health for the citizens of Tennessee and the region.

Founded in 1878, the College of Dentistry is the oldest dental college in the South and the third oldest public dentistry college the U.S. The school enrolls 320 students in the 4-year program. It is dedicated to offering professional, graduate and post-graduate dental education; innovative dental research; and state-of-the-art patient care. 75% of Tennessee’s dentists were educated at UTHSC.

The Opportunity

The College of Dentistry is seeking an experienced major gifts fundraiser for a growing institution. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs, this self-starter will be prepared to create and cultivate strong and effective relationships with internal and external constituencies and to execute tripartite asks (annual, major and planned gifts.) This Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing local and regional donor and prospect events. ANDI experience preferred.
