The School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of San Francisco advances the mission of the university by preparing health professionals to address the determinants of health, promote policy and advocacy and provide a moral compass to transform healthcare in order to further equity and positively influence quality, delivery, and access. The Opportunity

USF is seeking a Director of Development for the School of Nursing and Health Professions and the School of Education to be a key player in the preparation and execution of a substantial upcoming comprehensive campaign. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Development, the Director will be charged with growing the school’s major gifts program, identifying, cultivating and securing gifts of five- and six-figures in advance of the public campaign. This self-starter and relationship builder will coordinate and deepening relationships with donors and internal stakeholders. The Director of Development will work with the leadership team to establish a five-year growth strategy and will coordinate development and communications efforts across the two schools. USF is seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in major gifts, with a preference for experience in higher education or health systems and with comprehensive campaigns.
