The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars (Wilson Center) is the official memorial chartered by Congress to honor our nation’s 28th president. It is the nation’s key non-partisan policy forum for tackling global issues through independent research and open dialogue to inform actionable ideas for Congress, the Administration and the broader international policy community.

The Opportunity

The Wilson Center is eager to hire a Vice President of Development (VP) who is savvy, hardworking and tenacious. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO, Board and Executive leadership, the VP will grow sustainable funding for the Center, building innovative philanthropic strategies that articulate the Center’s value proposition and support its mission. The VP will be an exceptional relationship builder with an extensive network as well as a seasoned manager, able to guide and motivate a talented team. Experience on Capitol Hill and campaign fundraising will be a plus.
