Established in 1972, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) is Houston’s Health University and Texas’s resource for health care education, innovation, scientific discovery and excellence in patient care. The most comprehensive academic health center in the UT System and the U.S. Gulf Coast region, UTHealth is home to schools of biomedical informatics, biomedical sciences, dentistry, nursing and public health and the John P. and Kathrine G. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) will work almost exclusively with local, regional, and national Foundation partners to support the Health Science Center through long-term, deep commitments of programs and services. Managing a robust portfolio, the Director of CFR will proactively build relationships with key donors and partners in the Houston community and beyond. For this successful and unique niche in the development department to continue its growth, the Director of CFR will seek out and create opportunities to engage with faculty, major gift officers, other staff, and individual fundraisers across the institution.
