The Opportunity

The Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance, Operations and Services reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement and serves as a core member of the executive management team, providing innovative and ambitious leadership for the TTU System’s Institutional Advancement activities. S/He will be a critical leader in planning for and executing the TTU System’s unprecedented philanthropic growth. The Senior Associate Vice Chancellor will oversee a staff of 37 with the expectation that at least 15 new positions will be added in this area over the next two years. S/He will be responsible for leading and directing a broad range of support services and resources for Institutional Advancement that enable the fundraising enterprise for Texas Tech University System. This includes financial services, database and information services, research and prospect management, stewardship and endowment compliance, talent management and human resources. An ability to forge strong relationships internally and externally is key, as well as the aptitude to manage, inspire, empower, and ultimately scale up a large and high potential team. The incoming Senior Associate Vice Chancellor is integral in creating a solid infrastructure to support TTU System’s sustained growth and its next system-wide campaign.
