The Opportunity

Spring Hill College is seeking a Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations to be the lead development adviser and strategist for the institution. Reporting directly to the President, the person in this newly developed position will serve on the President’s Cabinet and be the primary liaison to the Board of Trustees’ Advancement Committee. The Vice President will be responsible for engaging alumni, parents, corporations, foundations, and friends, and for establishing a vision and building an overall culture of philanthropy at the school. Spring Hill is interested in candidates with at least seven years of experience in college or university advancement, particularly with capital and comprehensive campaign experience. The candidate should have experience with directly supervising a team of at least eight people and be willing to travel.
