The University of Oklahoma Foundation, an independent not-for-profit corporation, encourages and supports charitable giving for the benefit of the University of Oklahoma.

The Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture is one of a few colleges in the nation that house architecture, construction science, environmental design, interior design, landscape architecture, regional and city planning, and urban design. GCA aims to cultivate high-performing industry professionals, measurable community impact, and peer-reviewed research and creative activity at the leading edges of its allied disciplines.

The Opportunity

University of Oklahoma Foundation seeks a collaborator with great organizational skills, a sophisticated knowledge of fundraising practices, and an amiable character to serve as its next Senior Director of Development. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a portfolio of major donors and closing six-figure gifts. This individual will also ideally have a penchant for architecture, art, or design-related experiences. Additionally, grant and corporate experience are preferred, and this person will be adept in crafting the advancement plan for the College of Architecture. Collaborating with partners in the planned and principal giving departments will also be key components to this opportunity.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in and a commitment to creating and promoting a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace environment. The Senior Director will engage with the Board of Visitors and be a person of integrity, character, and sound judgment and, above all, dedicated to the mission and values of the University of Oklahoma Foundation.
