AJU advances and elevates the Jewish journey of individuals, organizations, and its community through excellence in scholarship, teaching, engaged conversation, and outreach. The AJU is not aligned with a specific Jewish denomination with the exception of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, which educates rabbis within the Conservative Movement.
