Resources for the Future (RFF) is an independent, nonpartisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and analysis to help leaders craft smarter policies related to natural resources, energy and the environment. As the first think tank devoted solely to these issues, RFF helped to create the field of environmental and natural resource economics. Since its founding in 1952, it has been committed to intellectual excellence and practical solutions with programs throughout the world. With the largest community of PhD economists and leading experts in environmental, energy and natural resource issues, RFF has a diverse research portfolio, including a Center for Energy and Climate Economics and the Environment for Development program.

The Opportunity

Resources for the Future is seeking a strong relationship builder and communicator to manage its development program. The Vice President for Development will establish a strategic plan for the department, facilitate engagement of the Board and president, and serve as the key liaison for individual, foundation and corporate donors. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, including experience in planned and major gifts and with corporate and foundation giving. The position will include significant management responsibilities.
