Associate Director of Development

MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) , North Adams, Massachusetts

As one of the world’s most evocative art centers, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, most fondly known as MASS MoCA, has been welcoming 300,000 visitors annually and hosting more than 75 performances of music, contemporary dance, and avant-garde theater each year. Its 250,000-square-foot exhibition space displays sculpture, painting, and other artwork highlighting well-known and emerging artists alike, with a focus on large-scale, immersive installations that conventional museums would be unable to present.

MASS MoCA aims to empower the creative economy through the advancement of the arts, increased tourism, deeper community participation, and regional economic development. Its North Adams campus — formerly a textile mill — features vast galleries alongside indoor and outdoor performance venues, reflecting the Museum’s commitment to all forms of visual and performing art, including new types that defy easy categorization.
