The Opportunity

The Foundation seeks to expand its team with the addition of four Major Gift Officers who will be responsible for soliciting private philanthropic contributions through major and principal gifts, the grateful patient program, planned and deferred giving, capital, and endowment campaigns. Reporting to the Interim President and Chief Philanthropic Officer, the Major Gift Officers will manage a portfolio of 150-plus donors and prospects to deepen their engagement with and giving to Jupiter Medical Center and strengthen the donor pipeline in advance of the organization’s next major philanthropic initiative.

The ideal candidates will have successfully solicited and closed six- and seven-figure gifts. They will be exceptional relationship-builders and eager to engage new donors and inspire current donors in support of the Medical Center. The successful candidates will be highly organized and strategic and will exhibit superior written and oral communication skills to effectively represent the Medical Center and the Foundation both internally and externally.
