The Opportunity
Lyric Opera of Chicago seeks a dynamic, proven Director of Major Gifts. The Director of Major Gifts will serve as an integral part of Lyric’s efforts to expand philanthropic opportunities in major gifts from established donors, performance attendees, and prospective supporters. The successful candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in major gifts fundraising in a university or large institution setting, and will bring exemplary experience in face-to-face solicitations, staff development and management, and building a successful pipeline of six- and seven-figure donors.
