Reporting to the Director of Development, the Senior Associate Director of Development is responsible for assisting the Director of Development in the planning, execution and evaluation of a comprehensive and aggressive development program to engage and generate annual and multi-year gifts from all King School constituencies. A key member of King’s development team, the Senior Associate Director of Development is expected to influence and drive strategy, relationships and best practices to accomplish King’s ongoing goals for development as well as support the Director of Development in the execution of tasks related to his/her role. As such, this position is the “second in command” for the Development office, overseeing all day-to-day activities of the Development program and team. S/He will maintain a portfolio of approximately 50 donors and donor prospects and successfully take responsibility for their identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
