Kilgore College
is a publicly supported, two-year comprehensive community college located in
northeastern Texas. With more than 11,000 students each year, Kilgore is
dedicated to serving the needs of Texas residents, particularly those in East
Texas. The college opened its doors in 1935 and has evolved to provide a wide
range of educational opportunities in fields that include nursing, law
enforcement, manufacturing technology and other vocational fields. With
campuses at Kilgore and Longview, the school was named the 8th best community
college in the nation by College Choice.

The Opportunity

The Executive Director (ED) of Development will have the opportunity to lead annual, capital and planned giving campaigns at Kilgore College. Reporting directly to the school’s president, the ED will create comprehensive solicitation and cultivation strategies for donors. Major gifts will be an important part of the job responsibilities as well as developing and managing a communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, preferably with designation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
