Keep Memory Alive is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families as they navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders. One hundred percent of donations to Keep Memory Alive support Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, which provides care to patients with memory and movement disorders including Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease, as well as front temporal dementia and multiple sclerosis. The Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health’s treatment programs are designed to provide excellent care and to respect the dignity of patients and their families. Research helps to advance Cleveland Clinic’s groundbreaking clinical trials and offers hope for improving brain health.
The Executive Director will be a true visionary whose focus will be on ensuring the financial stability of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and its groundbreaking research and world-class patient care. Reporting to the Associate Chairman of the Philanthropy Institute at Cleveland Clinic, the Executive Director will secure philanthropic gifts by identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gift prospects. S/He will also create a strategic development plan including individual major gifts, corporate and foundation gifts, grateful patient and family support, planned gifts, annual fund and special events. The Executive Director will work closely with the founders of Keep Memory Alive, its board of directors, and team of volunteers. The position will manage a team of four. At least 12 years of experience leading and managing programs in a high profile, dynamic, mission-driven nonprofit or foundation is required.
