Keep
Memory Alive is committed to improving the lives of patients and their families
as they navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders. One hundred
percent of donations to Keep Memory Alive support the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo
Center for Brain Health, which provides care to patients with memory and
movement disorders including Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, and Parkinson’s disease,
as well as front temporal dementia and multiple sclerosis. The Lou Ruvo Center
for Brain Health’s treatment programs are designed to provide excellent care
and to respect the dignity of patients and their families. Research helps to
advance Cleveland Clinic’s groundbreaking clinical trials and offers hope for improving
brain health.

The Opportunity

Keep
Memory Alive seeks a strong Director of
Development to support the organization’s fundraising goals. Reporting to
the Executive Director of Development, the ideal candidate will be comfortable
in a metrics-based environment and will be committed to a “best practice”
approach. The new Director of Development will expand the scope and reach of KMA’s
already impressive track record of fundraising to bring an increased sense of
urgency to improved treatments and the quest for a cure for neurological
disorders. The Director of Development will have significant experience in
directly soliciting gifts of $25,000 or more, capital campaign experience
and s/he will be a successful frontline fundraiser who will secure donations
through a process of identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating,
soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects.
