Prevent Wars. Shape Peace.
The International Crisis Group is an independent organization working to prevent wars and shape policies that will build a more peaceful world. Their mission is to prevent, resolve and mitigate deadly conflict around the world by informing and influencing the perceptions and actions of policymakers and other key conflict actors. As the world is confronted with a dramatic rise in the number of conflicts, with devastating humanitarian, social and economic costs, Crisis Group’s work is urgently needed. Whether they are sounding the alarm or proposing intelligent new policies, their central goal is saving lives.
The Associate Director of Major Gifts will cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, both individuals and family foundations with the capacity to give, and identify and qualify new donors to meet both individual and organizational fundraising goals with the objective of broadening philanthropic conversations and elevating their portfolio to reflect donors at the six- and seven-figure giving levels.
Working in a fast-paced, challenging, and intellectually stimulating work environment, the Associate Director will play an important role in energizing and elevating Crisis Group’s existing development efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and will take a highly experiential approach to donor relations.
