The Opportunity

The Chief Development Officer will be a leader who possesses the vision and practical experience to manage a broad resource development program and serve as iCivics’ chief fundraising official. The selected candidate will have a passion for revolutionizing how students learn about government and civil society; a knowledge of building a major giving program; and the capacity for setting and achieving aggressive fundraising goals. S/He will identify, solicit, cultivate and steward support from individuals, corporations and foundations and will research grant opportunities. A keen eye and the ability to develop, manage and continually evaluate all systems, processes and protocols will be essential to the success of this position. A minimum of ten years progressive fundraising experience is required.
