The Opportunity

The Director of Class Giving reports to the Managing Director of Development and serves as the chief strategist for individual donor development and the overall planning and delivery of a successful Class Giving Program. The selected candidate will manage a department of 10-12 full time employees charged with planning, implementing and evaluating approximately 13 reunion gift campaigns, as well as non-reunion year annual campaigns for approximately 60 classes. S/He will partner with volunteers, peers and colleagues to capitalize on the annual giving program’s strengths and identify ways to enhance its success through increased participation, increased donations, retention and sustained giving. Additionally, the Director will personally cultivate, solicit and steward a small portfolio of high-level prospects for gifts ranging from $25K to $1M. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7-10 years of progressive, successful relatable experience is required.
