Regional One Health is a critical access hospital with a mission to enhance the health and well-being of the 3 million people in the Memphis region. The institution is on a transformative journey to become an academic medical center through a partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. To achieve this, the downtown campus of Regional One Health is slated for a groundbreaking $1.2 billion reconstruction, making it the largest construction initiative in recent Memphis history.

The Regional One Health Foundation supports the hospital’s mission and initiatives. It cultivates support for the Centers of Excellence in trauma, burn, neonatal intensive care, high-risk pregnancy, and other essential services, ensuring that patients receive best-in-class care. The Foundation is currently engaged in a campaign for Trauma and Oncology services and will play a crucial role in raising funds and awareness to support their new phase.

The Foundation is strategically positioned to play a key role in shaping the future of Regional One Health.

The Opportunity

The new Executive Director will strategically position the Foundation to support the growth and transformation of Regional One Health into an academic medical center in partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. To fuel this evolution, the ED will lead the Foundation’s operational infrastructure, programs, and strategies in support of fundraising and constituent engagement.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, the Executive Director will navigate a diverse set of responsibilities, both administrative and executive. This includes managing a team of fundraising professionals, implementing short- and long-term fundraising strategies, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the philanthropy team.

With a focus on an upcoming comprehensive campaign, the Executive Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing innovative strategies to enhance the Foundation-Regional One Health collaboration and drive revenue growth. They will play a pivotal role in decision-making, ensuring the Foundation’s continued success in supporting Regional One Health’s mission and will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare in Memphis.
