The Opportunity

The Senior Executive Director, Foundation Relations and Corporate Giving
will spearhead Duke Health’s fundraising
activities with a range of foundations and oversee the unit’s activities around
corporate philanthropy. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Duke Health
Development and Alumni Affairs, the Director will guide Duke Health leadership,
faculty, and staff in initiating, strengthening, and managing strategic
relationships with foundations to advance philanthropic support for a variety
of programs and priorities. A minimum of ten years’ progressive
experience in foundation relations is required, as is experience at the
intersection of university and corporate partnerships. This is a unique opportunity for a strong, seasoned, team-oriented fundraiser
to manage at the highest level in the distinctive Duke Health environment.
