Arizona State University (ASU) is a new model for American higher education: an unprecedented combination of academic excellence, entrepreneurial energy, and broad access. The Natural Sciences Division at The College Division offers programs in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and more. Students and faculty discover solutions to fundamental questions through groundbreaking research, exploring everything from the great unknown of the Earth and Solar System to addressing challenges like COVID-19 and global climate change. ASU ranks sixth in national research expenditures, and its students contribute to and lead discoveries and projects with global impact.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks a Director of Development, Natural Sciences, who will act as a frontline fundraiser for the critically important research happening at ASU. Managing one full-time development team member, the Director of Development will play a key role in contributing to The College and division’s strategic growth through philanthropic investments. With internationally recognized partners like NASA, the National Institutes for Health, and the Mayo Clinic, the director will leverage strategies for far-reaching investments that continue to support the global impact of The College and ASU.
The Director of Development will be involved in a range of cross-disciplinary academic areas, including earth and space exploration, psychology, physics, molecular sciences, math, and life sciences. Opportunities to succeed in this role and increase financial investments for the ASU Foundation are endless. In an intellectually stimulating and collegial environment, the director will manage and mentor staff in pursuit of innovative approaches to engaging donors, alumni, and partners with ASU.
