The Opportunity
Providence College seeks a Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) to provide strategic guidance and leadership to secure transformational corporate and foundation support to further its mission. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Development, the Director will be responsible for a CFR program that annually raises approximately $2.5 million annually. As a key member of the Development leadership team, the Director will have the opportunity to shape the institutional funding strategy for an upcoming comprehensive campaign – the largest in the College’s history. The Director will strategize to maximize and utilize all corporate- and foundation-related philanthropic opportunities locally, regionally, and nationally to advance the College’s research and partnership efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a collegial and collaborative approach to developing a comprehensive CFR plan. The Director will build upon an established portfolio and actively research, cultivate, and implement an action plan to generate additional support for the College’s mission and vision.
