The Opportunity

Building on the success of the Symphony’s $125 million comprehensive “The Future Is Hear” campaign, SDS seeks a Director of Advancement, Planned and Major Gifts to join a high functioning development team of 15 and manage a staff of three. The Director position is an opportunity to be part of one of the most innovative classical music organizations in the country.

Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the Director will be a senior member of the advancement team. The ideal candidate will be ready to build and direct a major and planned giving program through soliciting and stewarding their own portfolio and by training and partnering with the entire advancement team on blended major and planned gifts.
