The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Global Advancement Officer, ASU Foundation, the Senior Director of Advancement, Texas, will serve as a leader in the market for strategy development regarding philanthropy from both individual and corporate partners. This individual will be a senior professional who will work collaboratively as a leader at Arizona State University Foundation (ASUF) and partner across ASU. The Senior Director builds and directs ASUF’s overall presence in Texas to support ASU’s Charter. They will be responsible for all aspects of advancement in this key market, including alumni and community cultivation, development, stewardship and campaign creation, direction, and engagement, while proactively managing a major gift portfolio. The successful candidate will lead ASUF’s ongoing effort to generate financial support in Texas, enabling ASU to exceed its goals.

This newly created position is a testament to the tremendous growth of Arizona State University and the presence of engaged and philanthropic donors, alumni, and friends. With this new role, the University looks to expand its footprint in the state to showcase the impact of internal and external partnerships through philanthropic support.
