Director of Development

Robert A Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program Remote

The Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program, established by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation in 2020, seeks to increase diversity in clinical trials and transform the clinical research landscape. This initiative comprises the Robert A. Winn Career Development Award (Winn CDA) and the Robert A. Winn Clinical Investigator Pathway Program (Winn CIPP). The Winn CDA is a two-year program aimed at training and developing early-stage investigator physicians from underrepresented backgrounds or those committed to increasing diversity in clinical research.

The overarching goal of the Winn Awards Program is to build a diverse and inclusive clinical trial workforce that can partner effectively with communities to develop treatments applicable to all populations. By fostering early-stage physicians and medical students in this way, the program aims to address and mitigate health disparities, ensuring that clinical research benefits a broad spectrum of individuals.
