The Opportunity
The Director of Development Planning and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role within the MIT Sloan School of Management External Relations team, serving as a key strategic partner in engaging alumni and donors with faculty research and initiatives.
Tasked with fostering collaborative relationships across MIT Sloan and the broader Institute, the Director drives efforts to secure major support for the school’s priorities. This includes aligning fundraising strategies with short- and long-term goals while ensuring consistency and efficiency. With a focus on impact, outcomes, and innovation, the Director of Development Planning and Strategic Initiatives embodies MIT Sloan’s commitment to developing principled, innovative leaders who drive positive change in the world through philanthropic support and strategic initiatives.
