The Opportunity

The Vice President for College Advancement will serve as Dickinson’s Chief Advancement Officer and will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive institutional advancement programs. This includes management of annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts and gift planning, endowment, capital campaigns, alumni and constituent relations efforts, stewardship, and advancement services. S/He will recruit and develop talented team members focused toward the ultimate goal of significantly increasing constituent involvement and fundraising outcomes; maintain a dynamic portfolio of high net worth individuals and secure major, capital, and planned gifts, as well as advanced annual gifts and endowment support. Working with the College President and senior administrative colleagues, the Vice President will advance the mission, vision, and short and long-term goals of the college and engage partnerships to enhance the culture of philanthropy. The selected candidate will also serve as a member of the college’s leadership team and maintain close working relationships with members of the Board of Trustees and key alumni/parents/friends.
