The Opportunity

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) will be responsible for all Cranbrook Educational Community philanthropy. The CAO will guide the fundraising program by providing vision and leadership, paying particular attention to the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship to top-tier individual donor prospects, corporate sponsors and foundation donors.  A member of the senior management team, the CAO will work collaboratively with other leaders to further the priorities of the Cranbrook Community, and model the Cranbrook values of service, innovation and teamwork.  A minimum of 10 years’ experience in not-for-profit management at complex, mission-driven, diverse institutions is required, as is a demonstrated record of leadership ability and professional accomplishment.
