Columbia University, Columbia Business School
New York, New York

Established in 1916 to provide business training and professional preparation for Columbia University students, Columbia Business School (CBS) has today become one of the most selective and highly-ranked business schools in the world. Since its founding, Columbia Business School has charted a course of continual growth and the development of new business practices through its unwavering commitment to research, ongoing curricular innovations, and a steadily expanding global reach. Columbia has consistently been ranked among the top business schools in the world by BusinessWeek, US News & World Report, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. It is one of only two U.S. business schools currently ranked in the top ten of each of these five major publications. The school is working toward a $400 million campaign to support the construction of a new campus in the western portion of Harlem, known as Manhattanville.
