The Opportunity

Pace School has teamed up with Lindauer in the search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a vital member of the leadership team, the CFO will provide counsel and direction on financial and operational strategy. The ideal candidate will serve as an advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, responsible for assessing, shaping, and executing financial planning, benefits administration, payroll, facilities, and information systems.

The CFO will be an entrepreneurial, strategic, and proficient financial and operational expert to manage business office functions and ensure meticulous planning, control, accounting, and reporting of finances. Collaborating closely with the CEO and Board, the CFO delivers comprehensive financial insights in addition to fostering strong professional relationships with legal, financial, architectural, and vendor stakeholders. The CFO must possess an in-depth understanding of funding regulations and obligations applicable to Approved Private Schools and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs), ensuring compliant management and expenditure.

Direct reports to the CFO include the Controller, Business Office Assistant, Human Resources Manager, Supervisor of Building and Grounds, and Technology Manager.
