The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts (CFWM) is committed to increasing equity and opportunity so that all who live in its region have access to a satisfying quality of life. The Opportunity

The Foundation seeks a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the strategic vision to advance equity throughout the region, empower and lead the internal Foundation team, support and guide the work of the Trustees, and steward existing relationships with donors and community partners, while nurturing relationships with new external stakeholders. With $250 million in assets across a range of fund types, solid financial underpinnings, and dedicated Trustees and professional staff, the Foundation is well positioned for its next phase of leadership and for an even greater impact on the communities it serves.

The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated record of collaborative, transparent, and flexible leadership and an understanding of equitable philanthropic practices, including listening to community voices. They will have demonstrated success in expanding an organization’s awareness, reach, and impact to garner financial support, partnerships, and energy for its mission.
