Florida is one of the most fraught battleground states in the country in the fight to maintain reproductive choice and provide comprehensive sexual health care for all. Planned Parenthood of South, East, and North Florida (PPSENFL) is a private, nonprofit healthcare agency incorporated in 1971. Its goals were, and remain, to provide affordable, compassionate reproductive healthcare services and to educate the community in all areas of responsible human sexuality. The mission of PPSENFL is to provide comprehensive sexual health care through the provision of clinical services, education, and advocacy.
Planned Parenthood of South, East, and North Florida seeks a Chief Development Officer who is dedicated to this mission, understands the complexities of working and fundraising within an organization that raises 501c3 and 501c4 funds, and knows firsthand the power of the intersection between advocacy and providing services. The CDO will be an inspiring leader and donor-centered strategist with a deep commitment to women’s health, reproductive freedom, and social justice. The CDO will be a member of the Strategy Team of PPSENFL, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
If you are driven to be on the front lines of this issue, have developed and maintained valuable relationships with donors, have proven success building a pipeline, are a compassionate and caring leader and manager, and have the intrepid spirit to do the hard work, this may be the ideal role for you.
