The Opportunity

The Washington Ballet seeks a visionary leader for the role of Chief Development Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and elevate TWB’s philanthropy in anticipation of a capital campaign that will change the trajectory of the company and school. The CDO will serve as the principal philanthropy officer and will be responsible for managing and growing its thriving development program.

The ideal candidate must possess a track record of raising major gifts, be a superior communicator, and have an energetic spirit. It will be important for the CDO to work collaboratively and diplomatically with staff and volunteers to support TWB’s mission.
