Worldreader is a global organization that believes readers build a better world and its mission is to get children reading so they can reach their full potential. Since its inception in 2010, Worldreader has helped over 21 million people worldwide, including those living in crisis and conflict settings. With its 2025 strategy of 25×4, Worldreader aspires to reach its next 4 million children, jumpstarting them to complete at least 25 unique books each year and thereby increasing Worldreader’s total reach to 25 million people. This work will be supported by the $25 million revenue engine needed to accomplish these goals. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to level-up a global fundraising operation.

The Opportunity

Worldreader seeks a seasoned fundraising professional to be its next Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). The CAO will lead the advancement strategy and build the “fundraising engine,” inclusive of revenue diversification, to propel Worldreader towards its ambitious goals. Additionally, the CAO will continue to build the global brand and reputation of Worldreader. The ideal candidate will be an adept fundraiser, knowledgeable in marketing and branding spaces, an excellent writer, and a persuasive communicator with prior experience leading a global organization.

The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $250,000.
