They know where they want to go and how to create the lives they want to live. The Bryn Mawr School students are well-prepared, creative thinkers – confident and resilient – and dynamic, joyful, energetic, powerful and smart women who care for the world. An independent, nonsectarian all-girls school for grades K-12 with a coed preschool, The Bryn Mawr School is one of the oldest college-preparatory schools in the country with the goal of helping women succeed by empowering them. The School was recently named a 2018 Top Workplace by the Baltimore Sun.
This is an exceptional time for The Bryn Mawr School as it seeks its next Director of Development. The successful candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal, organizational, leadership and project management skills; understanding of fundraising best practices; and a strong track record of personal fundraising successes, ideally from both alumni and parents. S/He will be skilled at delegating and trusting in and empowering the members of the development team to execute on priorities and meet goals, and possess impeccable attention to detail. A commitment to all-girls education is highly essential.
