More than 300 academic and government experts work with the Brookings Institution to conduct research, create public policy and analyze a full range of public policy issues. The Metropolitan Policy Program is a thought leader and catalyst for comprehensive improvement on urban-related matters, and is specifically dedicated to research and strategies that help cities and metropolitan regions build an advanced economy that works for all. The Metropolitan Policy Program conducts this work by developing relationships with civic, business, government and philanthropic leaders and creating replicable plans and policy initiatives.

The Opportunity

The Metropolitan Policy Program is currently seeking a sophisticated and experienced Senior Director of Development to lead an innovative, effective, and rapidly growing fundraising program. A key member of the senior management team, the Senior Director will create and implement short- and long-term strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors. This is a tremendous opportunity for a polished, seasoned leader to manage a high-functioning development team and help improve the lives of metropolitan populations nationwide.
