The Opportunity

The UW is seeking an inclusive, strategic, and collaborative leader to serve as the next Associate Dean of Advancement for the College of Arts & Sciences. The Associate Dean will address a wide range of opportunities and challenges to enable the College of Arts & Sciences to meet its external aspirations and fundraising goals. This position is critical for enhancing private support and external stakeholder engagement.

Working closely with the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences to advance their vision and priorities, the Associate Dean will bring professional expertise and new ideas and approaches to this work. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, transparent, and highly collaborative with a deep appreciation for the centrality of a liberal arts education within a highly ranked public research university. The Associate Dean will be a person of integrity, character, sound judgment, and discretion and who is, above all, dedicated to the mission and values of the UW.
