The Opportunity
The Associate Dean for Development will build on recent philanthropic momentum, playing a crucial role in developing and implementing annual fundraising and engagement plans. Collaborating closely with the school’s executive leadership team, the Associate Dean will lead the planning and execution of the next historic campaign for the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing fundraising initiatives and engaging with various stakeholders, including alumni, students, faculty, institutional partners, foundations, patients, and supporters. It requires a values-driven leader with an innovative mindset, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to social justice and community impact, along with proven expertise in leading professional school advancement programs.
The Associate Dean will manage a team of eight advancement professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the development process. The position involves working collaboratively with volunteer leaders, alumni, and the Dugoni School Foundation Board to cultivate major gifts, manage operational budgets, and advance the school’s institutional goals. The successful candidate will work towards sustaining growth and lasting impact for the Dugoni School of Dentistry in alignment with the institution’s ambitious vision and goals.
