The Opportunity

As Duke Health prepares for an ambitious campaign to address the most pressing health challenges of the present and future, it seeks an Assistant Vice President of Individual Giving (AVP) to serve as a key member of its Development and Alumni Affairs program. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs, the AVP will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for Duke Health’s talented frontline fundraising teams.

The ideal candidate will be a highly knowledgeable and experienced manager with demonstrated experience leading teams in a complex environment. This seasoned fundraiser will bring passion for academic medicine as well as a track record of organizational leadership and experience in healthcare and grateful patient fundraising.
