The Opportunity

William & Mary seeks a proven leader with strong operational skills and experience in advancement services to serve as Assistant/Associate Vice President for Advancement Services and Innovation (AVP). Contributing to the university as a senior member of the executive leadership team, the AVP will oversee advancement services, finance, and talent management, ensuring the operational infrastructure supports development, alumni relations, and affiliated foundations.

The AVP will establish a data strategy team, optimize the CRM database, and manage prospect research, data integrity, and gift administration. As the university prepares for its next comprehensive campaign, the AVP will play a vital role in its success, taking the lead in budgeting, resource management, and campaign readiness.
