Christian Myers

Christian Myers brings to Lindauer and our clients over 10 years of frontline fundraising and philanthropic consulting experience.

Christian worked with a range of hospitals, universities, independent schools, and human services organizations in his previous consulting role with Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A). Through fundraising assessments, development program reviews, fundraising feasibility studies, and other unit-based engagements, he developed a broad understanding of varied organizational models and the unique intersections between roles and functions. His clients included The Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University, Charlotte Country Day School, College Track, Fuller Theological Seminary, the Friends School of Baltimore, McGill University Health Centre, Pennsylvania State University’s College of Engineering, San Francisco Friends School, Sidwell Friends School, and the University of Toronto.

Prior to GG+A, Christian served Bryn Mawr College as Senior Development Officer, Major Gifts, managing a major donor portfolio in New York City, Colorado, and the Midwest during the school’s $250 million Defy Expectation Campaign. Christian also contributed to the planning and execution of an initiative to increase the diversity of philanthropic leadership that resulted in two significant milestones: the first recorded scholarship to be named by a same-sex couple and the first recorded scholarship to be established by a black alumna. In an earlier role as Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving at Bryn Mawr, he oversaw communications for the leadership giving society in addition to his work with donors. Before Bryn Mawr, Christian counseled alumni families through the undergraduate college search and application process as Assistant Director at the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Alumni Admissions Resource Center.

In addition to his work in higher education, Christian has advocated for LGBTQ equality professionally and as a volunteer. He was a fellow at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., where he managed the Wells Fargo LGBT Business Owner of the Year Award program. Christian also volunteered his time as a Philadelphia community manager for the Welcoming Committee, a national social enterprise organization dedicated to building community and creating experiential equality for LGBTQ individuals. He is an active volunteer for University of Pennsylvania, having served as a young alumni cohort leader in Philadelphia and co-chair of his fifth and 10th Reunion Gift Committees.

Christian earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
