The Opportunity

Johns Hopkins seeks an Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the Alumni Association (AVP/ED) to lead the strategic overhaul of alumni engagement at the University.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, the AVP/ED will design and implement an innovative alumni engagement strategy in collaboration with nine divisions across the University. They will empower a team of alumni relations professionals, making strategic investments to align programs with institutional priorities. Key responsibilities include developing a data-driven approach to measure alumni engagement, planning and executing the University’s next campaign, and leveraging alumni engagement to support fundraising initiatives.

Successful candidates will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative approach to leadership. They must be data-driven strategic thinkers with high-level communication and relationship-building skills.
